FUTURE ROADMAP · MONEY SKILLS PASSPORTPractice today. Connect the journey tomorrow.
The Money Skills Passport is a planned feature, not an active account or badge service. Here is the roadmap for bringing topic practice, progress, and completion milestones together.
WHAT WORKS NOWA foundation you can use today.
NextGen and LifeReady already offer individual topic lessons, interactive practice, quizzes with explanations, and printable resources. Those lessons can save completion, best quiz results, and game points in the same browser without a name or account. Clearing browser data can erase that local progress.
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT STAGESA clear path from topic to practice.
No release date or final feature set is promised. These concepts need development and testing before becoming available.
Planned · Step 1A topic map
Connect saving, budgeting, banking, earning, credit, and safety into age-appropriate routes. Point each topic to a working lesson and a practice activity.
- Start with a short explanation.
- Practice with fictional scenarios.
- Reflect on a choice and revisit it.
Planned · Step 2Practice milestones
Show which activities have been tried and which skills to practice next. Let learners repeat an activity and learn from the explanation rather than race for a score.
- Readable topic progress.
- Repeatable practice and feedback.
- Clear controls for locally saved data.
Planned · Step 3Completion badges
Recognize completion of a topic and its practice activities. Badges would celebrate educational participation, not certify financial expertise or predict real financial outcomes.
- Age-appropriate milestones.
- Clear criteria for each badge.
- A printable progress view to evaluate.
